Shangri-La Springs, a historic property in downtown Bonita Springs, plans a 1920s-inspired multi-course dinner New Year’s Eve at Harvest & Wisdom, the property’s farm-to-table restaurant specializing in fresh, organic cuisine.

The five-course menu — inspired by a menu created for Calvin Coolidge for New Year’s Eve in 1924 — includes a choice of entrée and complimentary glass of Champagne. In addition to the full wine list, Harvest & Wisdom’s sommelier has selected wines from the restaurant’s cellar to pair perfectly with the 1920s era menu. Cost is $125 per person plus gratuity, tax is included.

“We were inspired by the Golden Age in creating this special menu, with elegant traditional dishes given our signature twist with fresh ingredients from our organic garden,” said Chef Allen Fisher, who created the menu with Chef de Cuisine David Robbins. “Diners can expect a special touches and exquisite flavors.”

Michelin-starred Executive Chef Allen Fisher, a competitor on Food Network’s Chopped, brings more than 18 years of professional cooking and kitchen management experience including with famed chef Daniel Boulud in New York, and an extensive background of developing new concepts using local and organic products.
