Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) welcomes Dr.
After earning her medical degree with honors from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, Lamar completed her internal medicine internship and residency, as well as her hematology and oncology fellowship, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society for Clinical Oncology.
As a Board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist, Lamar’s primary focus is in malignant hematology, with a special concentration treating Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphomas. She is involved in clinical trials and has participated in several investigator-initiated, cooperative group and industry-sponsored clinical trials.
Lamar has been a primary author and co-author in several peer-reviewed journals and has presented original research at professional meetings.
